Snagit
Snagit started out as a screen capture program. Years later it is MUCH MUCH more. I still use it for capturing screen information such as the paypal purchases I make and taking screenshots of programs I am interested in.
A few weeks ago I had a problem with one of my websites. I kept on getting a strange message and “tried” to explain it to my programmer. I finally took a screen capture video of what was happening and sent it to him. The problem was solved in less than 30 minutes because he could SEE what was happening.
Many of you won’t have sophisticated graphic editing programs such as Photoshop. Even though I have a copy I seldom use it. I always have SnagIt running and it is so easy to grab a full sized book image off of Amazon and then resize it.
I created the image above in about 10 minutes, using Snagit’s editing capability.
I use Snagit to train my outsource workers by capturing a screenshot and adding arrows and step-by-step instructions. When English is a 2nd language, a few screenshots makes ALL the difference.
